The Kentucky basketball alumni team, La Familia, faced Kansas' JHX Hoops team in the 2026 TBT alumni bracket championship game, and dominated. They got out in front early and never looked back, winning it 78-65.
Kansas started hot, and led by as many as four points early on. However, the Wildcats team stormed back and after Archie Goodwin and Andrew Harrison hit back-to-back threes, La Familia led by eight. The lead was 37-30 at halftime..
Kentucky's squad quickly expanded the lead in the third quarter, going ahead 62-39 at one point. JHX made a late push to close the gap somewhat, but with the Elam ending set, Archie Goodwin put the nail in the coffin, sending La Familia to the championship game.
Once again, Goodwin was the star for the Wildcats, scoring 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Willie Cauley-Stein and Darryl Morsell each added 10 points. Chris Coffey also had some big moments, with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
La Familia will now play for the $2 million prize on Sunday against the winner between Davis Steel and The Mecca. However, for now, Cats fans can celebrate.
