England's Nathan Maguire won the T54 1500m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow to retain the title he won four years ago in Birmingham.
The 28-year-old Paralympic silver medallist found space on the inside of the track and pushed hard to break away from the field, finishing in a time of three minutes 17.65 seconds.
England team-mate Daniel Sidbury took silver behind him, just as he did in 2022.
The gold medal is England's fifth in athletics at the Games so far, following victories for Georgia Hunter Bell, Thomas Young, Sophie Hahn and Zac Shaw.
Later on Saturday, Hahn took silver in the T38 200m, beaten by Australian gold medallist Rhiannon Clarke.
