Left-hander Shane Drohan (5-4, 3.51) starts for the Brewers with a few extra days' rest while right-hander Ryan Johnson (2-5, 7.34) counters for the Angels.
There were a couple transactions prior to the game, with left-hander DL Hall being reinstated from the injured list and left-hander Thomas Pannone being designated for assignment in the corresponding move two days after making a spot start for Milwaukee in San Francisco.
