See the full story · 1 sourcesAn Illinois State Police trooper has been charged with sexually assaulting someone in southwest suburban Tinley Park.
Douglass Lee, 54, of Tinley Park, is accused of assaulting a person who was “unable to give knowing consent” early Sunday, according to a statement released Monday by the Tinley Park Police Department.
Police did not share any additional details about what allegedly happened. Lee was expected to appear in court Tuesday on a criminal sexual assault charge in suburban Bridgeview.
Lee has been employed with Illinois State Police since January 2004 and is currently on administrative leave without pay, State Police said in a statement.
