FSU football retiring Sebastian Janikowski number during season opener

The number 38 will never be worn again by a member of the Florida State football team, as Sebastian Janikowski is set to have his number retired during the Seminoles ' season opener against New Mexico State on Aug. 29.

One of the greatest kickers of all time, Janikowski was a standout in Tallahassee during his time with the Seminoles. The Polish kicker started from 1997-1999 and was part of the 12-0 national title-winning team in 1999, his senior season.
