See the full story · 4 sourcesIt was a busy day for the Washington Commanders . Head coach Dan Quinn met with the media to begin the day, which featured the Commanders in pads for the second time. A hard-hitting practice followed, and for the first time, tempers flared. Multiple small skirmishes occurred, but cooler heads quickly prevailed each time.
After practice, the Commanders finally agreed to terms with wide receiver Stefon Diggs. So, when Washington hits the practice field on Friday, Diggs will be on the field. The Commanders have the day off on Thursday.
As for what happened at practice, it was another good day for quarterback Jayden Daniels and the offense. That's three days in a row the Commanders' offense has shown continued improvement after a slow start to training camp.
