See the full story · 3 sourcesAfter their very public scuffle in practice on Friday, the Las Vegas Raiders announced they will be holding out Kirk Cousins and Maxx Crosby from practice on Saturday.
On Friday, head coach Klint Kubiak chalked it up to just being a part of camp.
"Those are two leaders on our team going at it," Kubiak said. "Obviously, fighting in a game [or] you throw a punch in a game, you are out of the game. So we got to be smart."

That's not the only thing going on in Raiders camp besides fights. The Raiders offense struggled at times in the red zone, with Cousins being picked off twice. But he rebounded somewhat with a couple of plays, including during the two-minute drill.
What also isn't being mentioned enough is the improvement of Fernando Mendoza, who led the team downfield for a touchdown to wide receiver Deven Thompkins during a red-zone drill.
The team was also missing several players from practice, which gave other players opportunities to get more playing time.
The intensity seen in practice may not be a bad thing for the team; however, it sounds like, from early reports, that the team is struggling at times on the offensive side of the ball and can't afford to lose anyone on either side of the ball for the season because of pride and stupidity.
The team may need to save their intensity for another team rather than for each other.
