In that draft, the Bucs still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next nine months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team and who they may add to the roster through the draft in a class many are saying could be generational.
Pro Football Network recently released the latest 2027 NFL mock draft of the cycle, which has the team going the offensive angle as they land a new offensive lineman for one of the best units in the NFL. They project the Bucs to take Ohio State's Austin Siereveld.
They explain the Siereveld pick, writing, "With the 19th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed the impressive Emeka Egbuka, who immediately looked like a star. Two years later, Austin Siereveld’s selection with the same pick would likely conjure less excitement, but sometimes the best picks are the sensible ones."
Siereveld plays tackle for the Buckeyes, but for the Bucs, a move inside would make the most sense. He has some movement and size concerns, but the technique and anchoring ability are there for interior success.
