The Seattle Seahawks have shown a big improvement from their first preseason game. Limited to only a single touchdown against the Cowboys in preseason week 1, the Seahawks only needed seven plays to match that output. Drew Lock engineered yet another touchdown drive, moving 74 yards and capping the opening drive off with a 36-yard touchdown strike to second year tight end Elijah Arroyo.

This was largely due in part to running back Jacardia Wright, who exploded right through the middle for a 69-yard touchdown run to give Seattle a 13-3 lead in the first quarter.

Unfortunately, it would not be the only special teams miscue. Myers did connect on a 48-yarder to close out the first quarter with a 16-3 lead over the Titans.
Seattle was on the verge of finding the end zone once more as Drew Lock attempted to connect with training camp star wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr., but Foster could not haul in the diving touchdown grab. It was Lock's first incompletion of the night. Jason Myers missed the ensuing 44-yard field goal attempt.
The Seahawks defense forced a punt from the Titans after the missed field goal, but they got it right back after wide receiver Cody White muffed the punt return. Tennessee had the ball at the Seahawks' 11-yard line, but Seattle's defense held the Titans to only a field goal, keeping it a 16-6 game.
Regrettably, the first half proved costly in other ways. Rookie safety Bud Clark was carted off the field in an air cast after the first defensive snap for the Seahawks. We at Seahawks Wire will continue to monitor the health situation of the Coby Bryant replacement pick.
Tennessee did make it a one score game with 10 seconds left in the half, connecting on their third field goal of the night. The Seahawks currently lead 16-9 at intermission.
Seattle will begin the third quarter kicking off to the Titans.
