NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- A swarm of jellyfish along the Jersey Shore is being blamed for an increase in swimmer stings during the final days before school starts.
The jellyfish, known as the mauve stinger or "purple meany," has been moving along the Jersey Shore and stinging multiple swimmers.
