However, at the moment, the focus is really on Palhinha, as he currently has the biggest market. Aston Villa are still interested, so keep a close eye on the Premier League! Villa are one of the clubs that could pay for him, as some of the other clubs, like Sporting Lisbon and Benfica, are keen to get a loan deal for the player. Bayern, however, want to sell right now this summer.
Cycling back over to right-back, Falk believes that Bayern Munich could rekindle an old flame — Feyenoord’s Givairo Read:
Givairo Read is still on the market. We know there is interest from the Premier League, with Nottingham Forest having submitted (and been rebuffed on) a first bid. We have to see what happens and which players are still on the market when, and if, Bayern can do something. But, yes, he’s one of the players who are very interesting for Bayern Munich. Bayern were early in talks with Read and his camp. But there’s no money for this deal without a sale.
