So in his absence, having Little on the roster has been quite valuable as he has filled the starting role opposite of Anton Harrison. While Walder believes that Chuma Edoga is "more than capable of functioning as the third tackle," last season's play doesn't necessarily illustrate that.
Little certainly had his ups and downs last season, and if the Jaguars have to rely on him at any point this year, there's no guarantee those inconsistencies go away. However, having him on the roster is far more valuable right now than the cap space and sixth-round pick that the Jaguars would get in return by trading him.
