ESPN fantasy experts see Dalton Kincaid as a TE2

Now that we are just days away from the start of training camp for the Buffalo Bills, it is time to review the fantasy expectations for our final positional group. As one might expect, the depth of the tight ends on the roster have likely diminished fantasy expectations for this season.

The highest ranked option is still Dalton Kincaid, as the former first round pick has flashed his potential when healthy. The collective rankings according to ESPN have Kincaid ranked as the 15th best tight end, just behind Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens) and Isaiah Likely (New York Giants). Kincaid would likely be ranked higher if healthy, with his 37% snap share in 2025 noted as a reason for any skepticism. With that being said, the statistical projections show an increase for Kincaid in 2026 with 698 receiving yards on 59 receptions.

Dawson Knox does not crack the top 25 rankings on ESPN, and he is projected to have a statistical dip this season. This can be accounted to the uptick in production for Kincaid, as Knox is projected to finish with 25 receptions for 265 yards. While Knox remains a valuable piece of the Bills offense, at this point he is likely a bye week waiver wire addition.

The expectations for second-year tight end Jackson Hawes also remain in check – with a projection of 11 receptions for 110 yards. Hawes may see more playing time this season, but his value comes from his work as a blocking tight end.
