Pretty tough conditions with the wind and with the back flags, the greens being so soft, it's tough to hit it close. Bogey-free round is always nice.</p><p>"My body should be fine. I obviously just had two weeks off and haven't played that much the last couple of months. I'm pretty fresh compared to the other lads. I've got my physio and my trainer here."</p><p>Penge leads New Zealand's Daniel Hillier, who was six under through 14 holes, by two shots with England's Matthew Jordan currently tied for third on seven under. Jordan is one under for his second round with four holes to play.</p><p>Jordan had finished the elongated opening second one shot behind Spain's Nacho Elvira, who had led the way with a seven-under 65. Elvira has yet to start his second round.</p><p>Early Thursday front-runner Tom McKibbin, who finished at four under, is also yet to get round two under way.</p><p>Organisers confirmed that players will be back on the course to restart the second round at 7.30am on Saturday morning.
