Nanoleaf sneakily released a new monitor stand over the weekend that can set your desktop ablaze with color, thanks to a strip of RGB LED lights that runs around the bottom of it. Called the Smart LED Monitor Stand , it could be a very fancy way to get your display to the proper ergonomic height for protecting your neck.
The Smart LED Monitor Stand can support displays up to 42 inches long and up to 154 pounds. It sits on two legs that raise your display by four inches and gives you some extra storage space underneath. The stand is Matter-compatible, meaning you can connect to and control it from any of the major smart home platforms, like Apple Home or Google Home, although you'd only be able to do things like set a single color across the whole strip or control its brightness. You would want the smartphone or PC Nanoleaf app to achieve detailed gradients and effects. It uses Wi-Fi, Thread, and Bluetooth Low Energy to connect and is powered via USB-C.
