“It’s the video from the album that I like the most,” he shares in Billboard’ s new video series Cafecito Con , which premiered Friday (July 31). “I loved the video because it’s just the ultimate ‘Corsa’ video. I can honestly say I nearly died making it. Physically, I almost died during the shoot. Think Tom Cruise … I did my own stunts and it almost cost me dearly, but we’re here and alive.”

Of the Argentine powerhouse, he adds: “That’s my little sister — I love her. She’s the best in the world. She took the time to spend the whole day filming the video. I mean, she stepped away from her life as a mom — and it’s even harder handling a baby on your own.”

The music video for the trap song, “De Chamquitx (Remix),” dropped July 22 and is part of Carrión’s CORSA album, which debuted at No. 6 on Billboard ‘s Top Latin Albums in May, and was ranked among Billboard’s 26 Best Latin Albums of 2026 (So Far) midyear list.

The 15-song set is powered by Boricua swagger, ferocious punches and clever experiments, but also has a lot of references to anime.

“Guy Sensei and Rock Lee from Naruto — I’ll always say they’re my favorite anime characters, simply because of their ideals,” he notes when discussing which anime he most identifies with. “They’re characters who believe that hard work beats anything. They might not have the same abilities as others, but through hard work, they manage to keep pace with everyone else. I feel like that’s how my whole life has been.”

He continues: “I started out as a swimmer, then became a comedian and later made music; because I had so many different labels attached to me, people didn’t see me as an artist. So, I had to work three times as hard to gain the same validation as others.”
