Real Madrid reveal squad numbers for 2026-27 season
Although further new signings this summer still cannot be ruled out, Real Madrid seem to have assembled their squad for the upcoming season. The Merengues have made six new signings this summer and, after being rejected by Rodri, are not expected to sign any other player.
One indication of this phenomenon emerged today, as MARCA reports that Los Blancos have published the squad for the next season, and, expectedly, there have been several changes in the squad numbers.
One of the new signings, Marc Cucurella, has taken the number 17, which was previously worn by Raul Asencio, as the latter has now taken the number 2, which was vacated by Dani Carvajal’s departure. Another new signing, Ibrahima Konate, has got number 16, which was vacated by Gonzalo with his transfer to Fulham.
