“It’d be crazy not to say you wouldn’t take that lesson and pull it forward and apply it, but it is about the here, the now,” Quinn said in a Tuesday press conference . “I’m excited for you guys to feel the energy of the team. Their readiness, their swagger. So, as we get started into this, I’m excited for you guys to feel that.”
There are several Commanders from that 12-5 2024 regular season and playoff run who know what it takes to win. They’re hungry for a return to glory.
While quarterback Jayden Daniels has vowed to put 2025 in the past, he said it had an impact on his offseason prep for this training camp.
“It left a bitter taste in my mouth,” Daniels said. “You kind of move forward and go out and get better and get back at it. You can’t really rush the days until the season gets back, but you attack it with a different mindset, a different approach to things.
