Information for supporters travelling to Croke Park

Leeds United travel to Croke Park to face Manchester United in another pre-season fixture on Wednesday evening and we would like to thank every fan that will be making the journey to support the team.

During your trip, please remember that we are all representing not only Leeds United Football Club, but also the city of Leeds, and we ask that you always show respect to other fans, staff and players.

Dangerous behaviours, discriminatory language, tragedy chanting, and inappropriate gestures are not acceptable. You could be breaking the law and face a football ban. The club condemns these kinds of behaviours and has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of hate.

Plan your journey early:

Whether you’re travelling by train/car/bus make sure you leave with plenty of time to spare before the game. Supporters are advised to arrive no later than 60 minutes before kick-off, which is scheduled for 7.30pm.

Croke Park is just a 15 minute walk from Dublin City Centre, and a 20 minute drive from Dublin Airport.

As tickets are fully sold out for the fixture, supporters are reminded to plan their journey in advance and check timetables to ensure timely arrival at the ground to avoid long queues before kick-off.

Supporters are reminded to download their tickets in advance to speed up entry.

Know the stadium layout and policies:

Bags may be searched on entry to the match and to avoid lengthy queues we strongly advise that you do not bring a bag. To speed up entry please travel lightly and only bring small bags and essential items only.

Backpacks and large bags are not allowed into Croke Park for matches, only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm × 11.7/ 29.7cm) will be permitted into the stadium. There are no bag storage facilities nearby to the ground.

Stay safe:

Keep yourself and others as safe as possible at all times, especially during any match incidents and both pre-match and at half-time in the concourses.

Remember that throwing objects and the use of flares, pyrotechnics and smoke bombs are strictly forbidden. Remain in the seat you have purchased, and refrain from standing on your seats and blocking aisles in the away section.

All supporters will be searched thoroughly before entering the stadium.
