To be honest, with this combination of coach, players, and club officials, I simply don’t see how things can go completely wrong at Bayern in a way that, for example, Borussia Dortmund could capitalize on. I actually see Bayern as a very, very serious contender to win the Champions League as well.”

Vincent Kompany’s record-setting attack from a season ago basically returns intact; if anything, it should be bolstered by the addition of Ismael Saibari, a World Cup breakout with Morocco, and the continued progress made by Jamal Musiala since his devastating injury a year ago.
