Jersey patches are here to stay in college football.

On Tuesday, Ohio State announced a partnership with JPMorgan Chase worth nearly $17 million per year. Notre Dame also announced a partnership with SoFi worth $18-20 million per year for six years. Illinois also added a partnership with Busey Bank. Patches for those companies will be on those iconic college football uniforms.

No doubt, more blue-blooded schools are sure to follow the model. Jersey patches.

Ridiculous? It's all part of the game now. Why not make some of those lucrative partnerships fun for the schools involved. Here are a couple suggestions worth looking at (both serious and not-all-that serious).

Alabama: Dreamland BBQ

College football is all about the legendary food, right? Dreamland would be a natural fit in Tuscaloosa, but would legendary coach Nick Saban agree? Maybe he could help get Aflac instead.

Arkansas: Walmart

This is bound to happen. The Walton family already has its name on the basketball arena. Its time to add it to the jerseys.

Boston College: Dunkin'

Boston College is the best fit for the Dunkin' patch, and it feels like we're only a few years away from being able to call a play from the booth with the help of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck given the right price tag.

Georgia: Delta

It's not going to be a car dealership. It might be better to stick with the more lucrative corporate sponsor in the skies instead.

Georgia Tech: Coca-Cola

That leaves Coca-Cola for rival Georgia Tech – which makes sense given the ties to Atlanta. How many soft-drink companies will get their patch on a college-football field?

Miami: Ticketmaster

Remember how much tickets were going for during last year's CFP championship game against Indiana? The ticket companies are going to get a patch somewhere.

Michigan: Ford

Gerald Ford is the only United States president who played college football. Henry Ford (no relation to Gerald) founded the juggernaut motor company headquartered in Dearborn, Mich. It's such as an easy connection – unless Michigan wants to troll everybody with a patch from Norton – the Cybersecurity company.

Oklahoma: Love's

Love's Travel Stop is a corporate sponsor of the Sooners, and they wouldn't be the only travel center in competition for a patch.

Penn State: Sheetz

Sheetz CEO Travis Sheetz graduated from Penn State. Unless, of course, Giant gets the patch first . That leaves WaWa for Villanova.

Tennessee: French's

Josh Heupel ordered it up last week – but the only inherent risk here is the potential for a mustard-colored Tennessee jersey.

Texas: Tito's Handmade Vodka

Please do this. Texas has more than enough sponsors to choose from here, but the popular vodka brand is headquartered in Austin. There would be hand-wringing with the messaging with alcohol and college-aged students – but that's not never stopped the endorsements at the college and pro level.

Texas Tech: DraftKings

Too soon? Texas Tech deserves the jab given the hijacking of an entire month of the offseason with the Brendan Sorsby debacle, but chances are any patch is going to have some sort of tie to mega-booster Cody Campbell. Jokes aside, who wants to bet one of those gambling apps will have a patch at some point?

USC: Star Wars

George Lucas – a USC alum – would have to get behind this. USC could never change its helmet, unless of course, there was a Darth Vader-themed home game.

Wisconsin: Culver's
