Here’s a bullet-point rundown of USA players whose clubs were in action this weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Players are divided by position groups (which helps my depth-chart-oriented brain to process this information most usefully). Stats are from FotMob .

Strikers

Patrick Agyemang remains out with his Achilles tendon injury and was not with Derby for their 2-2 draw with Cardiff on Saturday. He is expected to return in early September.

Damion Downs was not in Southampton’s squad for their 3-1 win over Stoke City on Saturday.

Charlie Kelman was not in Charlton’s squad for their 2-1 win over West Ham on Saturday.

Folarin Balogun missed Monaco’s 1-0 win over Le Havre on Sunday. Balo is out with an injury that FotMob lists as unknown, saying it took place on August 11.
