And Rigg has the perfect skillset for such an approach.
Chris Rigg has proved that he can make the step up to becoming a Premier League player. Now he looks as though he can properly impose himself on games and become a dominant force as Sunderland prepare for both the Premier League and the Europa League.
Our homegrown Academy product is going to make it very difficult for our record signing, Habib Diarra, to earn a place in the starting XI. That can only be a good thing.
