Add D'Angelo Russell to the list of people who want to see the Boston Celtics acquire Stephen Curry.
Russell, who was Curry's teammate in Golden State for half of a season, recently said on "The Backyard Podcast" that he wants to see the Golden State Warriors star in a Celtics uniform.
"I would love to see Steph Curry go to Boston," Russell said . "I would love to see that.
"I just think he needs that type of help around him now. Like, who's taking the load off him in Golden State? The rookie? Oh yeah, healthy Jimmy [Butler]. I don't know [if Butler will be healthy], but that's what I'm saying. You have a veteran team that's going to know how to win the last three minutes of the game. Just getting to the last three minutes is where they're going to struggle.
"I just think I would love to see him in green somewhere, and him and Tatum and Paul George taking on the league," Russell concluded.

Russell's comments come after a Curry trade rumor swept the internet even though it wasn't true .
However, while there is currently no legitimate reporting connecting Curry to the Celtics or any other team, there is a reason people are questioning the 12-time All-Star's future with the Warriors.
Curry enters the 2026-27 season on the final year of his contract. While it's hard to imagine him ever playing somewhere other than Golden State, that won't stop teams from keeping an eye on his situation in the hopes that he'll want to spend the end of his career elsewhere.
If it were up to Russell, that would be Boston.
