Olivia Rodrigo is continuing to amplify the fight for reproductive rights in the weeks leading up to her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival, this time visiting Planned Parenthood’s offices in Los Angeles to discuss the organization’s work and why it’s so crucial.

In clips posted by the nonprofit on Tuesday (Aug. 4), the pop star sat down with Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California president Jodi Hicks and Rachel Rodriguez of the organization’s L.A. branch, asking questions about the work Planned Parenthood does, common misconceptions about it and what patrons seeking care can expect from their visit.
“Even just walking around, seeing all the people doing various jobs here, it’s just so inspiring,” Rodrigo said at one point. “They’re all united in this common mission. It’s such a beautiful thing.”
In another clip, Rodrigo showed off how many healthcare services Planned Parenthood offers — from abortions to UTI treatment, vasectomies, gender affirming care and more — she could name in just 15 seconds. She also shared why she’s not afraid to stand up for reproductive rights, telling viewers: “Planned Parenthood matters to me because women and girls matter to me. I trust women and girls to make decisions about their own bodies and their own futures.”
The Grammy winner announced in June that she would be launching a festival taking place on Aug. 29 in Irvine, Calif., featuring an all-women lineup that includes Chappell Roan, Doechii, Stevie Nicks, KATSEYE and more. The entirety of the proceeds will support organizations such as Planned Parenthood that advocate and provide resources for the health and well-being of women and girls.
“i’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!!” Rodrigo stated at the time. “i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.”
In the lead-up to Daisy Chain Fields, the former Disney star has also visited the Center for Reproductive Rights and spoken to legal experts who are dedicated to fighting for women’s rights in the courts.
The star has long been using her platform to speak up about reproductive freedoms, raising more than $2 million for the cause through her Fund 4 Good over the course of her Guts World Tour and winning Planned Parenthood’s 2025 Catalyst of Change award. The festival comes on the heels of her third studio album, y ou seem pretty sad for a girl so in love , which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned Billboard Hot 100 -topping single “Drop Dead.”
