“In my conversations with Deshaun, his physical health came first, and I wanted to make sure there’d be no repercussion for him physically from what we were doing on the field,” Browns quarterbacks coach Mike Bajakian said , per Cleveland.com. “He’s assured me — he said, ‘Coach, I’m in the best shape of my life, let’s take the reins off and go.’ So it hasn’t been a consideration in anything we’ve done, physically or mentally, in his preparation.”
If it's actually possible that Watson can come in and be the quarterback that Cleveland was expecting him to be when it traded for him and gave him a massive extension, the Browns will be a lot better of a team than people are giving them credit for.
Their biggest issue in recent years has been their quarterback play, with Watson a big part of that, though it's possible that him being good to go could change everything for his career once again.
