For Liverpool, the transfer market is becoming rather inflated this summer.

Indeed, the Anfield outfit are partly to blame for this after they spent £125 million on Alexander Isak and £116 million on Florian Wirtz last summer but, the fact that Elliott Anderson and Morgan Rogers have both joined new clubs for over £115 million each hasn't helped matters much either.

The difference in the value of players between clubs is one of the main reasons why Liverpool have hardly done any business this summer.

Curtis Jones has been on the cusp of leaving for who knows how long but, since the Reds believe he's worth more than Inter Milan are offering, they're sticking firm to their beliefs and not allowing him to leave.

The same thing is happening with Bradley Barcola. Liverpool want to spend around £100 million on the Frenchman but Paris Saint-Germain want at least £35 million more to even consider his exit.

So, with all of this in mind, it's hardly surprising to see the Anfield outfit casting their net far and wide in terms of attacking targets.

And now, Liverpool have been told how much they'd need to spend to get a deal for one of their back-up targets over the line.

As mentioned, Liverpool have been eyeing up many attackers this summer.

Mohamed Salah has left which means that there is a gaping hole in Iraola's attack that needs to be filled.

In fact, most fans thought that would be the Reds' main priority but, up until now, moves towards the deal have been slow.

That's why several other players have now emerged on Liverpool's radar.

Pedro Neto is one of the main players to have been linked with a switch recently and now, as per a fresh update from Ekrem Konur , Liverpool have been told exactly how much they'd need to spend to get a deal for the Portugal international over the line.

"Pedro Neto could leave Chelsea," he wrote .

Liverpool would be silly to spend €80 million on Pedro Neto

For some reason, almost every attacker that Liverpool have been linked with this summer have been natural left-wingers.

In fact, the one attacker that they have signed is a left-winger which means that the Reds now have three options to choose from on the left.

Each player deserves to start for Iraola's squad but, with the formation that the Spaniard is likely to play, only one will be able to play in his natural position.

That's why making a move for Neto doesn't make all that much sense .

Although the Portugal international has played as a striker and a right-winger in the past, it's clear that he's a lot more comfortable on the left than he is anywhere else.

And, since Liverpool will want to give Rio Ngumoha a lot more playing time this term, adding another left-winger to their ranks doesn't make much sense at all.

Indeed, Barcola is also a left-winger by trade but, with how often Luis Enrique interchanges his attackers, the 23-year-old can easily play on the right if needed.

Salah , some serious questions will need to be asked of their recruitment team.
