Ahead of this, Apple Festival Place store in Basingstoke will be closing in November, leaving the company with 38 retail stores in the UK …
Apple says that the revamped Oracle store will offer all of the facilities customers now expect from its latest design.
We’re excited to reopen the completely redesigned Apple The Oracle this December and offer customers in South East England new ways to discover, shop the latest Apple products, and get support for the devices they own.
The all-new Apple The Oracle will feature an experience room for customers to explore products, a designated Genius Bar and Apple Pick Up area to collect online orders, and free Today at Apple sessions teaching customers how go further with the products they love.
The store first opened way back in June 2011. The reopening will be preceded by the closure of Apple's Basingstoke store.
As we prepare to make these updates, we have decided to close our Apple Festival Place store. Apple Festival Place will remain open until November 2026, after which all team members will have the opportunity to work at Apple The Oracle or other Apple Store locations.
We’ve loved serving the Basingstoke community for the last 15 years and look forward to welcoming customers at nearby Apple Stores and on Apple.com , the Apple Store app, and at Apple Authorised Resellers and Service Providers throughout South East England.
This store too has been open since 2011.
In the past 18 months, Apple has revamped its Regent Street, London, store along with Lakeside shopping center in Essex. Stores in Birmingham and Southampton are in the process of receiving their own upgrades.
Worldwide, Apple has opened a total of eleven new stores and relocated 17 more with newer designs over the past 18 months. This includes Apple Miami WorldCenter and Apple Downtown Detroit.
