Andrew Balding's charge took a big step forward when running a nice race at Salisbury before disappointing at Ffos Las. Of the others, George Boughey's newcomer <strong>Talamon </strong>is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner <strong>Fev Rover </strong>and could make an encouraging debut if ready to go.</p><h3>4.08 Lingfield - My Old Mate bids for a hat-trick</h3><p>The thriving <strong>My Old Mate</strong> bids for a hat-trick in the<em> Free Tips on attheraces.com Handicap</em>.</p><p>Since the removal of headgear, Gary and Josh Moore's charge has progressed with each run, including two facile wins on the bounce at Windsor. Under a penalty, he is now 11lbs higher since these two victories, yet he must remain well ahead of the handicapper judging by the way he has finished off these races. Jude Fernandes' 7lb claim could prove pivotal aboard this lad, who has shown a liking for this one mile trip.</p><widget id="1"></widget><p>The only other runner in-form is <strong>Henfield</strong>, who progressed nicely to get up by a short margin at Lingfield, and may provide chief opposition.</p><p>The most unexposed contender <strong>Perfect Ruler </strong>can post a career-best effort here as he was not seen to best effect at Redcar in May when running into trouble in the final furlong.</p><h3>6.30 Wolverhampton - Percy's Lad and Spaceman headline well-contested affair</h3><p>Percy's Lad and Spaceman headline the well-contested <em>Visit Wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk To Book Now Handicap</em>.</p> <widget id="2"></widget><p><strong>Percy's Lad</strong> returned to winning ways when capitalising on a low mark at Kempton last week and should go well again given he remains well-treated - just 5lbs above his career-low mark.</p><p><strong>Spaceman </strong>is the least exposed and was very impressive when winning at Dunstall Park before running creditably on handicap debut. He can continue to progress and should be in contention to trouble the judge for the Fahey stable.</p><p><strong>Inside Story</strong> posted a career-best effort when running on eye-catchingly to finish second over course and distance on his most recent start, and <strong>Haadeer </strong>still contains the potential to progress well this season if building on his respectable third at Doncaster last time out.</p>
