After an offseason filled with plenty of roster moves, the Cleveland Browns and general manager Andrew Berry could continue to shake the organization up before the 2026-27 NFL season.
While many believed that Berry and the front office would move off of key veteran defenders, such as star cornerback Denzel Ward and safety Grant Delpit , the Browns ultimately decided to lock up their top playmakers for the foreseeable future. However, this does not mean that the organization is done making moves this offseason.
Here are three trade candidates that the Browns could move off of before Week One of the regular season.
WR Jerry Jeudy
The Browns' youthful movement has begun to take over the offense, with rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston entering the wide receiver corps this offseason.
Adding both pass catchers in the recent draft, along with the steady rise of Isaiah Bond this offseason, now opens the door for Berry to move off of veteran wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The 27-year-old has faced plenty of adversity throughout his two years in Cleveland thus far, going from a career-high 1,229 receiving yards in 2024 to nearly half in 2025. Multiple teams could benefit from Jeudy, and with the team's primary focus directed towards the young playmakers on offense, the former 2020 first-round pick is a clear-cut trade candidate this offseason.
Best landing spot: Washington Commanders
QB Dillon Gabriel
It's clear that the Browns' current quarterback battle is between veteran Deshaun Watson and 2025 fifth-round pick Shedeur Sanders. And with the addition of 2026 sixth-round pick Taylen Green, there's a good chance that Dillon Gabriel could be the odd man out of the group heading into the season.
Gabriel, who many speculated was selected for former head coach Kevin Stefanski, played in 10 games as a rookie in 2025. The former Oregon standout recorded 937 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions during the stretch, but if the Browns decide to roll with three quarterbacks this season, it's safe to say that Gabriel would be the first one off the roster.
Best landing spot: Atlanta Falcons
WR Cedric Tillman
Another wide receiver that could be affected by the Browns' newcomers on offense is 2023 third-round pick Cedric Tillman .
Throughout his first three seasons with the organization, Tillman has failed to take the next step in his development, recording 833 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 38 games. To make matters worse for the 26-year-old, the addition of Boston this offseason virtually eliminates his role in head coach Todd Monken's offense this year. If the Browns fail to find a trade partner for Juedy this offseason, Tillman will be the next-best trade candidate in the wide receiver room.
Best landing spot: San Francisco 49ers
