FC Barcelona Sporting Director Deco is trying to accelerate a number of sales, and wants to pass the €100 million ($115.7 million) mark in doing so.

Already this summer transfer window, we’ve seen the Blaugrana pass the €70 million mark with Ferran Torres’ move to Paris Saint-Germain representing the lion’s share of that sum.

Ferran’s confirmed fleeing to the French capital is worth €50 million, of which Barça will keep €40 million after levelling up with City on what was remaining of the €55 million it agreed to pay for the striker’s services in late 2021.

After the Ligue 1 club exercised his purchase option, Ansu Fati joined Monaco permanently for €11 million, which is the next biggest sale.

A number of fringe players, La Masia prospects and Barça Atletic reserve stars have been sold for a few million euros too. More often than not, 50% of their rights were surrendered, while percentages of future sales and buy back clauses have also been inserted into the terms of the deal as part of a new transfer policy .

Yet there are still some sales pending, which Deco will want to take care of post haste at the same time he is chasing Rodri at Manchester City and Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.

Other players that are on the exit ramp include Hector Fort, Marc Casado , Tommy Marques, Guille Fernandez and Toni Fernandez - which goes without mentioning Jules Kounde.

From the Premier League, Kounde could fetch in the entire amount Barça has profited so far. Deco called his agent for a meeting this week, but the Frenchman isn’t being strongly linked to anything or anyone as of yet.

Casado is, and was ordered not to travel to Italy last week for the triangular while Saudi Arabia potentially swoops by meeting Barça’s €40 million asking price.

The other mentioned names are youth talents that will probably be moved on while retaining 50% of their rights and buyback clauses.

Tommy Marques will probably bring in more than the Fernandez cousins, and his exit is a consequence of Rodri’s expected arrival at FC Barcelona in the coming days.
