That didn’t take long. After just a few weeks in the Complex Leagues with the Chicago White Sox , No. 1 pick Roch Cholowsky was called up to High-A ball with the Winston-Salem Dash calling up Cholowsky ahead of Tuesday’s game.
After taking an 0-4 in his first game, Cholowsky was able to get into the hit column on Wednesday, knocking in a base hit up the middle to highlight his 1-4 performance. Cholowsky was also able to get his first RBI with the Dash, driving in two runs in a 7-4 win.

UCLA made the most of their time with Cholowsky, spending nearly the entire 2026 season as the No. 1 team in the country. The Bruins couldn’t capture a national title though, falling well short of their goals in the 2026 NCAA tournament. With an up-and-coming White Sox team, Cholowsky should have plenty more opportunities to win on the diamond.
