CHICAGO — A familiar face for Purdue football fans will be appearing on Big Ten Network during 2026 broadcasts.
Former Boilermaker defensive end Ryan Kerrigan is joining BTN's on-air roster for the upcoming season.
The Muncie native played for Purdue from 2007-10, becoming a unanimous All-American as a senior in a season he won 2010 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.
At Purdue, Kerrigan compiled 210 career tackles, including 57 for loss and 33.5 sacks, along with 14 forced fumbles. He most notably led Purdue to an upset over No. 7 Ohio State during the 2009 season.

Washington selected Kerrigan 16th overall in the 2010 NFL draft. He spent 10 of his 11 seasons with Washington and was a four-time Pro Bowl selection. After playing for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, Kerrigan spent the past four seasons on the Washington Commanders coaching staff.
He is among four additions to the BTN broadcast lineup, including former Oregon All-American Kenjon Barner, former UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley and longtime coach Biff Poggi, who was Michigan's interim head coach last season.
