Micah Parsons gives Packers organization, new facilities his approval

At this time last year, Micah Parsons was still in Dallas and going through a very public contract dispute with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys that ended with a stunning trade.

Fast forward 11 months, and Parsons is about to enter his second season with the Green Bay Packers , though it likely won’t begin for him until October as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL.

Injury notwithstanding, Parsons couldn’t be happier with where he’s at these days.

“Grateful to be a part of this organization,” the 27-year-old wrote on X earlier this week ahead of the start of the Packers’ 2026 training camp.

Unfortunately for Parsons, he won’t be participating in the training camp practices due to his injury. He was officially placed on the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday, July 28.

But even though he won’t be an active participant on the field, expect Parsons to spend plenty of time around Lambeau Field.

As part of his praise for the Packers organization on social media, the All-Pro defensive end also gave the team’s facilities his full stamp of approval.

“Packers new facilities are (expletive) nuts!!” Parsons wrote.

That’s high remarks from Parsons knowing he spent four years in Dallas where no expense is spared at the $1 billion AT&T Stadium, also known as Jerry’s World.

Before he suffered the season-ending injury in the Packers’ Week 15 game in Denver, Parsons became the first player in NFL history to have 12 or more sacks in each of his first five seasons.

Parsons finished with 12.5 sacks last season, and despite missing the final three-plus games, he earned his fifth Pro Bowl and fourth All-Pro recognition.
