08/07/2026 August 7, 2026 CJP's nationwide campaign to focus on public issues across India Less than a month after the youth-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) staged a mass protest in Delhi, it has now announced a countrywide drive, "Kya bolti public" (What does the public say).

The campaign will focus on listening to young people's aspirations , concerns and ideas before drafting a citizen-driven Youth Reform Charter.

The CJP said it was keen to listen to the voices of ordinary people from different parts of the country.

Under the campaign, the CJP leadership will travel across the country from September 1 to gather inputs from the public.

"Education reform and unemployment remain at the very top of our priorities. We will also relentlessly push for institutional accountability because a democracy cannot function when institutions stop being accountable for their (in)actions," Das wrote.

To support its expansion, the CJP is also planning to launch a crowdfunding initiative . The announcements were made at the end of a two-day core committee meeting in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the hometown of CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke.

After organizing an arguably successful protest, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has decided to act as a pressure group and bring forth issues affecting ordinary people. It has announced a nationwide campaign to address the issues, where education and its soaring costs will take precedence.

Demonstrations have continued in other parts of the country since the mass protests led by the CJP. Students in the eastern state of Jharkhand have announced a march to the state assembly to protest irregularities in state recruitment exams.

Meanwhile, India and China held talks to discuss border security and reviewed the situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Arunachal Pradesh.
