Norwich City have signed Cameroon international left-back Darlin Yongwa on a four-year deal after he left Ligue 1 side Lorient at the end of last season.
The 25-year-old signed for Lorient in the summer of 2022 and went on to make 97 appearances in four seasons for the French club.
Yongwa becomes the fourth signing made by the Canaries this summer following the arrivals of Andre Brooks, Bruno Alves and Sam Field.
His arrival comes 24 hours after sporting director Ben Knapper said he was expecting to announce a new left-back imminently at a fans' forum on Monday.
"I can already feel the warmth of the family club, and how the people want me to be happy and succeed," Yongwa told the club website.
Knapper added: "Darlin will give us a big boost in a position that we have faced undoubted challenges in.
"To land a player of this calibre is big. He will help push us further towards our goals this season."
