Set in a Canadian mountain town, Rose Hills , based on Silver's books Wild Love , Wild Eyes , Wild Side and Wild Card , follows the romantic highs and lows of best friends West Belmont and Ford Grant. Weary ( The Waterfront , Animal Kingdom ) is set to play rancher West while newcomer O'Pry is set to play record label owner Ford. Galway ( The Altruists ) will play West's sister and Ford's love interest Rose Belmont. Dickerson, primarily a theater actor, rounds out the cast as country-pop star Skylar Stone.
