Zendaya keeps skipping lipstick on the red carpet in favor of this ‘effortless’ balm

The booked and busy star ditched lipstick for both the NYC premiere of "The Odyssey" and the LA premiere of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" this month, opting instead for a swipe of sheer Prada Balm .

For her angelic "Odyssey" red carpet look, Zendaya's makeup artist, Ernesto Casillas, mixed both the Universal and Astral Pink shades. While the latter appears blue in the tube, it reacts to the body's natural pH and transforms into a subtle blush hue on the lips.

"A touch of Prada Balm in Astral Pink brought a soft hint of life to [Zendaya's] lips and completed the effortless, radiant finish," Casillas said in a press release.

At this week's "Spider-Man" press junket stop, the glam pro mixed the Universal shade — which looks green, but goes on completely clear — with Prada's colorless Glossy Liquid Balm .

It's been a big week for Prada; the legendary brand announced Zendaya as the global ambassador for its upcoming Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum today, though her love of the line goes much farther back.

“My first introduction to the Prada fragrances was through one of my best friends," she told Vogue . “He wears Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum Intense , and I would always love it when I smelled it on him,"

"I decided to test it out at the 2025 Met Gala, and I kept getting compliments on it, so it became my signature scent," she said of the flowery amber blend.
