Foo Fighters’ Tour Is Touching Down in North America

After touring Europe for much of June and July, Foo Fighters ' Take Cover Tour will touch down in North America in August. Following the U.S. leg, the band will head to Australia, New Zealand, and India.

They'll bring along fellow hard rock heavyweights Queens of the Stone Age on most nights of the North American leg, except their North Dakota date, Connecticut date, and Los Angeles date, where they'll instead be backed by the L.A. Philharmonic. The tour will feature additional support from Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away on select dates.

There are a number of festival dates along the way, including Bourbon & Beyond and Rock in Rio. They'll also stop at the newly-created Power to the People Festival , organized by Tom Morello. The one-day sold-out event will also feature Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Dave Matthews, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, and more.

Tickets for the tour are available through Ticketmaster and AXS. Several of the band's upcoming dates are nearly sold out already for the North American leg, including their Washington, D.C. and Chicago stops.
