Borussia Dortmund have signed Greek talent Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Monday.
The 18-year-old forward signed a deal until June 2031. Last season, he played 34 matches in the Belgian first division, scoring 11 goals. In the Europa League, he made 11 appearances with two goals and five assists.
"With Kos, we're adding a player to Borussia Dortmund who, at just 18 years old, already possesses tremendous talent. We're thrilled that we were able to get him excited about our vision, and from the very first moment of our discussions, we could tell that Kos is eager to join Dortmund," managing director of sports Lars Ricken said.
Karetsas made his debut for the Greece national team in March 2025. In 10 matches, he scored three goals and provided one assist.
"Borussia Dortmund is a special club, and I'm incredibly proud to now be able to wear the Black and Yellow jersey. I want to do my part to ensure that we’re successful together," he said.
