The Pittsburgh Steelers have reached a deal on a contract extension with defensive tackle Keeanu Benton , according to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Benton and the Steelers have agreed to a four-year, $72 million contract extension that will keep him in Pittsburgh through the 2030 season. The $18 million per year average annual value on the contract will tie Cam Heyward for the most-expensive defensive line contract in team history and make them the 20th-highest-paid interior defensive linemen in the league.
Benton, 25, has appeared in all 51 games since the Steelers drafted him and has made 40 starts, mostly at nose tackle. He had the most productive season of his career by far in 2025, when he started all 17 games and made 51 tackles, six tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 12 quarterback hits, one pass defended and one forced fumble.
