Shergar Cup Sprint tips: Kate, Sam and Jamie are taking on Ascot favourite

Kate Tracey, Sam Boswell and Jamie Lynch reconvene to discuss the best betting angles for the Shergar Cup Sprint at Ascot on Saturday,<em> live on Sky Sports Racing.</em> <p>Thunder Call heads the market for this typically competitive heat having gone down on his sword when looking to complete a hat-trick in a hot three-year-old handicap at Newmarket last time out, but all three of our panellists are taking on the William Haggas-trained sprinter.</p><p><strong>Senior form analyst Jamie Lynch:</strong></p><p>"Quick conditions will help for <strong>Havana Hurricane,</strong> trained by Eve Johnson Houghton. He's up to six furlongs from five last time and this is only his third handicap start too. He was well liked last year and won the Windsor Castle.</p><p>"The key here is up in trip and being held up. The last five winners of this race have come from off the pace as they go a fair gallop. There is a lot to like with him here and he's a proper each-way price."</p><widget id="3"></widget><p><strong>Host Kate Tracey:</strong></p><p>"The horse for me is <strong>Figjam</strong>, who was second at Doncaster last season in a competitive handicap. She had been pitched into the deep end in the Firth Of Clyde and ran fourth. She makes her handicap debut.</p><p>"Her rating could be a little high but the thing with her is she's still so unexposed for a trainer who has done well with sprinting mares this season in Katie Scott. I think she's a lot more unexposed than these and has a good chance here."</p> <widget id="1"></widget><p><strong>BetVictor's Sam Boswell:</strong></p><p>"I'm going against the favourite with the John and Sean Quinn-trained <strong>Cape Ashizuri</strong> who has been chucked into the deep end on a few occasions. He ran in the Champagne Stakes on his second start where he did finish last, but they thought enough of him to pitch him into a Group Two on his second start. He then bumped into Saber Strike who is a good horse in his own right, before flopping at York in a big-field handicap.</p><p>"That was only his fifth career start and I'm willing to put a line through it, and he's got Dylan Browne McMonagle jocked up for the first time who is one of the best in the Shergar Cup. The ground should be fine for him and he's a good bet."</p>
