Jaylen Brown is excited to show the Philadelphia 76ers what he can do in the 2026-27 NBA season. Brown is one of the 76ers’ new stars after they traded for him from the Boston Celtics this summer. The five-time All-Star wants to prove he can lead a title-contending team.
Brown had his best performance last season with the Celtics. The star forward averaged 28.7 points , 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists on 47.7% shooting. Because of Jayson Tatum’s prolonged recuperation from a torn Achilles tendon, he was the team’s primary option for most of the season.
Brown led the Celtics to the second seed in the East with a 56-26 record. However, the team was eliminated by the 76ers in the first round, and that was it for the NBA star.

Jaylen Brown went live on Twitch on Sunday and gave a chilling warning ahead of the new year.

Brown has more help in his new team. He will share the floor with Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid and LeBron James. The 76ers are the heavy favorites to contend for and win the NBA championship. Aside from the All-Stars, the team also has VJ Edgecombe, a promising young talent who will share the backcourt with Maxey.
Jaylen Brown Says He’s Been in the Gym With His New Teammates
Although the 76ers’ training camp won’t start until late September, Jaylen Brown has been in the gym. Brown told his fans during his Twitch live stream that he has been training with his new teammates to get ready for the upcoming season.

Aside from Brown, the 76ers have been active in surrounding the stars with decent role players. The team acquired Anfernee Simons, Dean Wade and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope during free agency.
Brown knows the importance of building chemistry, which is why he’s spending time with his new teammates. Chemistry will help them get through some of the toughest challenges next season.
