Forgive me, for I can hardly believe what I am reading: someone in the national media landscape actually gave the Seattle Seahawks credit for being the best team in football! You know, the exact same team that obliterated the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX to become world champions a few months ago.
Despite being one of the most dominant Super Bowl champions of the 21st century, and the most dominant since the 2013 Legion of Boom Seahawks, it has felt as if no one around the country even seems to acknowledge that fact. Seattle is once again being overlooked in favor of the flashy Los Angeles Rams .
But rest assured, 12's. There is at least one person out there who recognizes the Seahawks as the best team in the NFL, and it comes from a potentially unlikely source: Bill Simmons of The Ringer .
Simmons was speaking with ESPN's Mina Kimes, and when the topic of which team is the best in the league came up, Simmons quickly declared it to be the Seahawks.

He is a well-known Boston sports fan, which of course includes the New England Patriots. Simmons saw first hand just how absurdly dominant Seattle can be, even in a game when their offense wasn't firing on all cylinders.
The Seahawks made quick work of the Patriots to the point where the game genuinely felt over at halftime despite "only" a 9-0 lead after three field goals.
