Brewers will see lots of new faces with struggling Mets in New York
At 81-50, the Milwaukee Brewers remain the frontrunner to end the season with the best record in the National League. They head to Citi Field to face a New York Mets team that has struggled to a 59-72 record, despite surpassing even the Los Angeles Dodgers in payroll this season.
The Brewers are trying to keep the Dodgers from catching them for the top overall seed, not to mention generate more distance from the National League Central second-place squad, the Chicago Cubs.
Who are the probable pitchers for the Mets and Brewers?
All three games will be televised on Brewers.TV and on the radio airwaves at WTMJ (620 AM). The Tuesday, Aug. 25 game will also air locally in Milwaukee on WITI-TV (Channel 6).

Where the Brewers stand in the playoff hunt
The Brewers (81-50) entered the week six games ahead of the Cubs (75-66) in the NL Central, with a magic number of 26 to secure the division crown for a fourth straight year.
The Cubs open a series with Arizona on Aug. 24. The Diamondbacks are also an intriguing team for the Brewers because they're the first team on the outside of the NL playoffs. The Brewers have a magic number of 20 to clinch a playoff spot of any kind.
The Dodgers (80-51) are off Aug. 24 but face the Atlanta Braves (76-55) starting Aug. 25, marking the second straight Braves series against a division leader after their three-game set against the Brewers.
It's good for the Brewers that one of those two teams will take losses each of the next three days. Milwaukee needs to finish ahead of one of them for a first-round playoff bye. The Brewers hold a one-game lead over the Dodgers and a five-game lead over Atlanta.
What's gone wrong for the New York Mets this year?
Well, they have a bottom-third offense in wRC+, a starting pitching staff in the bottom half of baseball in ERA and a defense that ranks in the bottom third, according to the Outs Above Average metric calculated by Statcast. Other than that ... the bullpen has been solid, including in August after a whole bunch of guys were traded.
Juan Soto has been limited to 84 games this year by injury, big-ticket signing Bo Bichette has been worth less than a full win above replacement by bWAR, Francisco Lindor has had a down year and, outside of rookie outfielder Carson Benge, the Mets haven't found players to make up for what they've lost.

The former Brewers star closer is on the injured list with a shoulder strain. Though he wants to return before the end of the season, he's not going to pitch against Milwaukee.
It's been a rough season for him, with a 4.66 ERA and 1.655 WHIP. He's in the first year of a three-year deal worth more than $41 million.
How has Freddy Peralta done with the Mets this year?
Peralta is gone. He got traded to the Tampa Bay Rays at the deadline after struggling to a 4.99 ERA this year in New York. The Brewers traded Peralta before the season to the Mets for Brandon Sproat and Jett Williams.
