The Indiana Fever are sitting fifth in the WNBA table after a solid season so far following some big performances from the likes of Caitlin Clark.
However, while Clark is widely regarded as one of the league’s best players, Aliyah Boston has opted to name another of her teammates as ‘the MVP’.
Instead, when speaking ahead of their next match, Boston was quick to heap praise on Kelsey Mitchell.

Aliyah Boston calls Kelsey Mitchell the MVP
In a recent interview that has been shared on X/Twitter , Boston called Mitchell ‘the MVP’ before adding that she is really proud of her.
Aliyah said: “She’s really just the MVP. I think that’s just what she’s been doing. Every single night you see her come out and she drops, I don’t even know how many points at this rate.
“She defends her —- off. We just come out and we play. I mean, she does exactly what she needs to do. I’m really proud of her.”
The Fever will now return to action on Friday night with a meeting against the Dallas Wings.
It is expected to be a tight game given how similar the two teams’ records are right now.
The Wings have won 20 and lost 14, leaving them sitting seventh in the table, while the Fever are fifth with a 21-12 record.
