The Seattle Seahawks have filled the vacant roster spot left by the recently waived Kenny McIntosh .
Rookie wide receiver Kyre Duplessis, one of Seattle’s five tryouts listed in the NFL’s Wednesday transaction wire, has signed with the Seahawks . Here’s the quick info on Duplessis from Seahawks.com’s Ari Horton:
Duplessis was an undrafted free agent who spent a brief time with the Detroit Lions this offseason. He most recently played at the University of Delaware in 2025. He caught 60 passes for 824 yards and a team-high five touchdowns. From 2020-2024, he was at Coastal Carolina, but played just three seasons after redshirting his freshman year. He recorded 23 receptions and 348 yards for the Chanticleers.
Seattle is a little bit banged up at wide receiver at the moment. Jake Bobo left Monday’s practice with an undisclosed leg injury, while Irv Charles has been absent from the last couple of practices after he picked up a knock on Sunday.
Duplessis also returned a handful of kicks and punts in his lone season at Delaware, with one punt run back for a touchdown. He also had this highlight reel one-handed catch against Delaware State.

Incidentally, some more info has been shed on McIntosh’s release. He started training camp on the PUP list after tearing his ACL last year. McIntosh did not have an injury designation when he was waived (which was the case for Tyrone Broden, who was also on PUP), and Wednesday’s transaction wire confirmed that he passed a physical the same day he was waived. He went unclaimed off waivers and is a free agent.
