Ferran Torres’ future remains unresolved as the FC Barcelona forward enters a pivotal summer with his contract set to expire in June 2027.
His role next season could depend heavily on Barcelona’s activity in the transfer market, with the possible arrival of a new elite centre-forward likely to reduce his opportunities further.
As a result, several leading European clubs continue to monitor his situation. Paris Saint-Germain remain the strongest contenders should Ferran decide to leave Spotify Camp Nou.
PSG want an immediate decision
According to SPORT , PSG are now pressing Ferran to make a decision about his future as soon as possible.
The French club want to establish whether the Spain international is willing to join Luis Enrique’s project and avoid a prolonged transfer saga throughout the remainder of the summer.

Enrique is keen to finalise his squad quickly and wants clarity over the players he will have available for the new season.
PSG’s sporting department, led by Luis Campos, hopes to complete any deal early enough for Ferran to join the squad when he returns from his holiday on 12 August following Spain’s World Cup triumph.
Alternative targets already being considered
PSG are not prepared to wait indefinitely. To avoid becoming dependent on Ferran’s decision, the club has already identified alternative attacking targets.
According to reports in France, the Barcelona star remains PSG’s preferred option from a shortlist of candidates. That list also includes Charles De Ketelaere, while the identity of a third target has not yet been disclosed.
The report indicates that Ferran remains a genuine priority for the Parisian club, although he is no longer their only option and the club have communicated this to the player’s representatives in an effort to encourage a swift decision.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid remain interested in the Barcelona forward, with reports suggesting that several Rojiblancos players have attempted to persuade him to join Diego Simeone’s side during the World Cup and over the summer break.
Barcelona not rushing into a decision
Barcelona, meanwhile, are taking a measured approach . The club continues to evaluate Ferran’s future and has not ruled out any scenario.
If the forward remains at the club, Barcelona intend to offer him a contract extension on 1 September.
