Should the deal proceed as expected, Nunez will be reunited with former Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah in Turkiye.
Trabzonspor Reach Nunez Agreement
Nunez moved to Saudi Arabia in 2025, when Liverpool sold the Uruguay international to Al-Hilal for a reported £46m.
His spell there has proved difficult. Al-Hilal subsequently removed the striker from their league roster, providing a clear indication that his future was likely to lie elsewhere.
