Oklahoma Sooners make changes to 2027 schedule

The Oklahoma Sooners have announced multiple changes to their 2027 schedule. All of these changes affect the non-league games, as OU is set to face Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss , and Vanderbilt in conference play next season.

First, OU announced that it will host the Utah State Aggies on August 28th. Originally, that game was going to take place on September 4th. Now, the Sooners will instead face the SMU Mustangs on September 4th, moving that game up a week as well. That contest will take place at a neutral site at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
